DEMMING
Ronald Lee Demming, age 69, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday September 29th 2004 at his home in Franklin, TN. Born May 19, 1935. Preceded in death by parents, Howard E. and Alberta V. Pollard Demming. Survived by partner and companion R. Keith Calloway; brother, Roy Demming; sister, Carol Posar; son, Randy (Barbara Fox) Demming; daughter, Victoria Demming Staires; 4 grandchildren, Sarah and David Demming, Nathan and Jared Staires. Mr. Demming was employed by Campus Sportswear, Cleveland, OH for 10 years, the Ohio Historical Society, Columbus, OH for 30 years and the Historic Carnton Plantation, Franklin, TN. He was very active in community leadership and historic tours in Olde Towne East and Franklin. He was Vice President and Tour Director of OTENA in Columbus. Renovated 2 Bed and Breakfast Mansions in Olde Towne East and retired to Franklin, TN. He was an active member of Covenant of The Cross Church and Bible Circle. Funeral services were held at Springhill Funeral Home in Nashville, TN on Saturday October 2, 2004. Pastor Greg Bullard officiated. A memorial service to celebrate his life and witness will be held in Olde Towne Columbus 7 p.m. Saturday, November 6, 2004 Rev. Dr. Carl H. Brown officiating. The family will receive friends from 6pm until service time at St. Paul’s Church 787 East Broad Street.
